Default Gsp 03/01

Water clarity was poor at best. At most 14 boats.

Arrived at 3AM and not surprisingly there was one boat there.

Mike E. showed up a few minutes later.

Not much to say on my part. Caught around 30 but mostly on bait and mostly gills and little yellow and stripers..... and drum. Caught one hybrid at a couple of lbs but nothing to write home to fishingtn about.

Two older gentlemen there regailed me with their trip to GPS on 02/26, Th. Water clear. They said they caught (8). 4 over twenty and on at 42lbs.

The big one came off a free swimming skipjack the size of a spade shovel.
Saturday they got skunked, Sunday too.

That's the way the steam rises sometimes.

I was there for the two 42lb fish day. I caught my first ever steam plant striper that day followed by a couple more. And yes his Skippy was the size of a spade shovel.
