Default Jpp 3/1

I fished today for the first time in months... targeted stripers and hybrids on Jpp with a full spread of planer boards down lines and a balloon line out the back of the boat using shiners for bait. Fished from 1130 to 530 and got skunked. We did have 3 strikes/pull downs but no hook ups and no fish in the boat. I enjoyed being back on the water tremendously even in the cold rain. I fished from long hunter all the way up to where spring creek and the stones river come together. Marked a lot of fish but I think many were gear because my buddy saw 2 gar surface around bryants grove.

Going back in 2 weeks with my brother in law and hope to slay em. Today was humbling but it was still great to get back in the game!

Good luck to all of you! Jason

One more thing... water temps 43 @ long hunter up to 48 at the very top end of the lake. Clear water up top too but muddy mid lake.
