Default Need to pick up minnows

Does anyone know a bait shop/convenient store between Mount Juliet and Cordell Hull off the interstate that has minnows?

Last year there was a bait shop on the left about .5 to 1 mile before you got to the dam entrance on the Carthage side. Also when you get off 40 across from the McD they sell hunting and fishing supplies, not sure if they sell minnows.

Good luck,
Ray

On Hwy 25 headed East just as you enter the Carthage area, there is a Home Supply Warehouse type store on the right. Sign out front says Hunting/Fishing Supplies, and Minnows. Tried to get some there a couple of years ago, but they were out. If you are coming in from I-40, it would be somewhat out of your way. Also, on Hwy 263, just before you get to the dam, there is a place called Turkey Creek Overalls, Jeans, and More on the left. He has some too.

Exclamation

You need to call a store first because of the freezing temps stores with
reservoirs outside will not have any fish as they die like the shad kill
the guys are talking about on the other post.
