Default Ok enough already

That is plenty of winter and generation.
I am ready to wade the Caney !!!!!

We need to write a letter or something !
Other than put & take pond trout I haven't hooked one since October !

I will say, my tackle box for trout has grown quite a bit though.

Better go ahead and make reservations for Memorial Day at the campground then. May be the first time back wading it.

I waded it yesterday morning. It was slow, caught 5 and missed a few. Where the creek ties in at the nature trail steps the water muddied up badly.

Waded and floated the Caney yeserday, very slow. Caught 10 (most were nice 13-14" fish) in a couple hours, but caught a very nice rainbow. The fish went 21" and weighed around 6lb. It was great to be out there again, can't wait for warmer weather.

Hey that's a dandy. Were you the brave young men, easing down that icy ramp?

The ramp had a few patches of ice, but we took our time for sure!

I just put 2 and 2 together that was you with the RiverHawk. I was across from the ramp when you guys pulled up, wading. I arrived @ 7 am and the main parking lot entrance was slush/ice and my vehicle didnt want any part of it. LOL

Oh, Sorry I did not say hello, it was pretty tough out there. My buddy Bryson caught 2 nice brooks, and 3 browns. They were taking the TM so softly! Plus with the sluice cut and the wind in the opposite direction, getting a goof float was pretty tough!

If you lived on the Caney you'd probably wonder about catching those huge Mississippi Rver blues.
