Default OH Crappie 5-5

Went mid-lake yesterday PM in the rain, water temps still a stubborn 61.5-62 about everywhere I was. The females I caught had not spawned yet. Reminds me a little of the "flood spring". Managed 15 mostly white crappie with a dozen keepers averaging around 12". The fish were still pretty scattered. Most larger fish on jig pole and Bobby Garland monkey milk, a few on a casted chartreuse grub. Fish were from 3-12 ft, only a few were away from cover.

They have been buggers this year with all the cold fronts and low temps.

I like Monkey Milk as well. But the fish got to be there to catch them.
