You are not supposed to carry while on the lake, I know JPP is that way. I break that rule all the time. Last time I got stopped was this January and I had my M&P in a holster outside of my cold weather gear and the warden never said anything. I did alert him that I had a firearm on my hip before he got to close.

I think you are allowed to have a firearm in the boat. The problem is no fire arms allowed on the corp or TVA property. Odd that you can't transport the gun to the water, however you can carry on water.
