TWRA site says this lake is 100 acres. Is it 100 or 1000?

There are two lakes there...one is a TWRA Lake and the new 1000 acre lake is NOT a TWRA Lake. They just took care of stocking it and managing the fishery. The new lake is owned by the county. There is a small daily fee and you can buy a yearly permit...but again.....it is not a TWRA Lake.

This is going to be an awesome fishery in another year or two. Caught 150 or so bass in 6 hours this morning. Lake is loaded with BIG bluegills also. My bass ran from 8 ounces up to 3 1/2 lbs. 1 lb being average but extremely hard fighters especially for 51 degree water. This may become my favorite local lake. Will post video link as soon as it finishes uploading.

Limits on fish there: Bass only 2 fish over 18 inches may be kept, Crappie 30 fish over 10 inches, Bream/Redears 20 in combination no size limit, Channel/Blue cats 5 in combination no size limit.
Annual lake permit is $25 for Carroll Co residents, $30 for others but it also covers one quest!!!! Never seen that one before but it is a great idea.

Yes to all and bigger. I didn't see any redears but I would imagine they are very large in this lake. Buddy of mine was spider rigging for crappie and couldn't catch any because of the bream and bass. Bream were wearing his jigs and minnows out.
