old hickory lake fishing report 12/3/2013
I went out this morning and found lots of fog so I followed the shoreline right to the cove and stayed there all day. I started with the #5 shad rap then went to the feather spinner bait and ended up trying the slider jig in motor oil and that was the ticket. I was working the trees in 3' of water and catching yellow bass and LM bass and the fun part was I was following another bass boat and catching what they didn't catch................woody P.S. The last picture was a little shakey.

Nice fish! even better knowing you were following other guys and still putting fish in the boat!
them yellow bass are a funny fish ive found out on Priest. they put up a good fight though. are they a big schooling fish or do they just kinda swim with whatever school is around? Trying to catch crappie though they can be a bit of a hassle swiping all my minnows! lol |
Great fishing Woody! That must be the Slider jigs you got at Walkers Bait and Tackle, 105 Sanders Ferry RD Hendersonville
