Default Caney - High Summer Stripers

Anyone put in at Carthage and run up the south end of the Caney Fork for Stripers recently?

Gonna be waaaayyy too HOT for me on lakes/Cumberland. Thought I might run up the Caney from the Carthage bridge boat ramp this week.

Don't have live bait; might first hit the dam for skippies on sabiki rig.

Anyone?

I've heard from previous posters in the past years that later in August and Sept are better times. I've never done it but if you'd like someone to go with ill pay for gas and meet u somewhere! It's been a bucket list to fish there with trout and catch them big boys.
Tk would prob be your best bet to pm
