Thanks merv it was a fun one the spots were right on the bank and the smallies were down in about 5-10 ft, I threw into a rootwad of a downed tree and as soon as the lure hit the water the big Ole largie slammed it, I couldnt believe a largemouth would be up that far up the river, that thing had me shaking for a few I was so bummed but I was going to release her anyway, that was the first one I've ever hooked up that far.
