Day on the Harpeth
Took the wife's Pescador 10' out today to the Harpeth. I bought it on that auction site in Lebanon for $250. First time I have been in in it. It handles well and seems as fast as my Tarpon 120. I do miss the extra storage but it helps keeping things simple.
The fish on the Harpeth seem to be making their transition to their fall pattern. I caught nothing in current or pools above and below. Today was about slack deeper water with rock shelves and mud or clay banks. That is where all the baitfish were concentrated. Great day to be on the water lots of small fish. All caught on 1/16 th oz. Spider slider and 4" Zoom Watermelon red lizard. http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y12...psbf5eea44.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y12...ps288c557f.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y12...ps6334d017.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y12...ps82321537.jpg |
