Default Bluegill 3/22 with Trout Magnets

I had just a small window to fish before the inbound rain and not wanting to risk getting little one wet. Only fished for about 30-35 minutes and caught 15 bluegill and 1 small bass.

Like it always is fast and furious action on the Trout Magnets.

Today they ate the Black/Green magnet.

Here is a few I took pictures of:

Thanks...

I am beyond confident that if I could have gone to another place here close by that it would have been pictures of nice crappie (Greasy Ham you reading this ). Will definitely try to get there next week. Its just a hard place to take a little one.

All the gills this week I have caught have been fat and solid. Wish I had a camera for the ones yesterday they ran bigger.

Good Luck..

Sore Lip Em All!

That Tourney Special is by far my favorite rod, well considering I'm not spending any more money than that on a spinning rod.

Those are really good rods. I have several and put them to good use.

Sorry I'm following you around on this board Travis but I have to ask... with the trout magnets are you casting and retrieving or slip floating? Nice catch btw!

90% of the time I have them under the Trout Magnet or Crappie Magnet float. IF it doesn't get a bite in 5 secs after hitting the water then I will s-l-o-w-l-y retreive with a twitch or two and a pause.

They will catch fish when used other ways but the kid in me loves watching that float dive under.

Yes I'm reading it. I gotta take this weekend off. I will be out there next weekend though. Hopefully the bite will be great then also.

The black and green is my favorite. Next would be bubble gum.
