3 shorts, 1 keeper on a test run... water needs to come up and we need some current.

wishing i was on the river in few spots this past weekend.
Ive got one more hunting weekend this weekend then im hanging up the hunting stuff and hitting the current!
got a few new tricks to show them babies this winter!

I would imagine that they should be showing up around all the major creek mouths by now though, smaller fish first with a few scattered females, then as winter sets in, more and more fish will begin to concentrate in their likely wintering holes. Im pumped for it!

I tried below Cheatham 2 weeks ago, no luck, but did foulhook a 14" walleye. This past Saturday, I fished the mouths of Richland and a few other small creeks over here in West Nashville, and didn't do any good, other than a 12" spot on a sauger jig. Didn't fish long, maybe 3 hours. If I don't get a decent bite in a couple of hours, I generally throw in the towel nowadays.
