Thanks Guys ... Like I have heard before but paid no attention ... "If I knew that I was going to live this long, I would have taken better care of myself"

Interesting, I was able to work a crew and help with of a vast group of resources to organize a St Patricks Day Parade, an adult beverage festival to follow, a craw-fish boil (yum), and pick the gater next to the campground we are going to cook next week down here in NOLA and don't believe I saw you....anyhoo we were very festive and send best wishes in your regard. Happy Birthday sir.

Thumbs up

Happy birthday good sir. I remember meeting you for the first time several years back, before I knew anything about this forum. I was younger and broke but had my first boat which I paid $600 for and shortly after I bought the boat it wouldn’t run. It had a really old 18 hp evinrude tiller on it. I don’t remember how or who but someone told me about “the old outboard barn”. You were kind to me and had it not been for your generosity in helping me for very little money I may have given up on fishing as a hobby. Turns out I had a sheared flywheel key and you told me some other tricks about the points and condensor. Later on I sold that boat and you helped my buddy that bought it rebuild the lower unit for dirt cheap. Another time I called to see if you had any parts for a mercury I was working on and you helped me again by giving me the name and number of someone that had exactly what I needed. That first encounter is also how I learned about this site and am grateful for all you do for all of us and have done for me. We all enjoy the sport a little more because of you TK. Thank you and again... Happy Birthday! You’ve earned it sir.
