I've been a member for awhile but haven't posted much in the last couple years. I feel like I read too much on here not to post more often. I've been fishing out of multiple different brands of kayaks and canoes over the last 5 years but I bought a boat earlier on in the week and today was the maiden voyage...

It was a little windy today, did more cruising around than anything. Found a few by docks, and a couple smallmouth came off a bluff wall. Not sure on the water temperature, never found any baitfish but all of the fish seemed to be fattening up.

It's nice when you have a lady on board to take pictures... LOL

Appreciate it! Definitely a treat, they're my favorite fish to catch.. I never catch them in the lake unless I'm fishing bluffs but i catch a lot of them WAY up in Station Camp Creek when i wade fish in the summer.

Nice catch. You will love having a reg boat. Gives you a lot more options on moving around
