Default Harpeth River 5-19-2018

Went on an 11 mile canoe trip on the Harpeth today, went with a group of about 20 people so I didn't expect to catch much. Nice hot day, did a lot of swimming and consumed some beverages... didn't bring a whole lot of tackle but decided to bring 2 poles. River was moving pretty fast from the rain yesterday so it was kind've difficult to fish what I wanted to fish but I tried to fish rocks and trees... ended up catching a few and this real nice smallmouth off of a big pile of rocks on a shaky head purple roboworm combo... great day, I normally don't like to get out on the rivers or lakes on the weekend but the Harpeth is just a fun river to float with some buddies and not worry too much about fishing sometimes.

Appreciate it man, I have caught some of my best fish this year but I also never post the reports when I catch absolutely nothing... lol my girlfriend is usually with me, and it's just an iPhone 7+ with portrait mode. I plan on purchasing a camera in the next couple of months but for an iPhone it does take pretty awesome pictures.
