Went out Monday morning before the storm, water temp was 55 when I put in at Avondale and 57 around 2:30 when I was leaving... good day of fishing, I fished a jig, swimbait and ended up throwing a ned rig the rest of the day. I try to make the ned rig my absolute last resort, but it's my confidence bait and it just straight up catches them, big fish and small. All fish came off of rocky points or bluffs and they were all fairly shallow... I caught ALOT of drum and small bass, but I did manage to catch one 19.25" and a 21" smallmouth. The 21" had a giant shad sticking out of its throat so they're still feeding. If you can find the bait you will find fish.

Nice fish buddy. You need to come to Dale Hollow with ne before the water temps get down in the 40's. I went Saturday and the water temp was still 63. I caught 9 on a swimbait with two 4.5lbers.

I'm down, I went to DH 2 weeks ago and caught a handful, managed to get one 18" fish... the water temp was in the low 60's but it was super inconsistent for me, I fished closer to the dam.

The lake can be very inconsistent. Just like today. I went and only caught 3. The water temps were 58-59. I tried some off the wall stuff today and it didn't pay off. I wanted to fish points but the lake was so crowded today in the mid lake area that there seemed to be boats lined up waiting their turn to fish a point on all the good ones. I figured it being during the week that it would be a ghost town but no such luck. So I ran around trying to find largemouth but I couldn't
