I also was up at KY lake this past weekend, and was also humbled. We flipped bushes and docks and every other shallow water structure with little results. The few fish that were caught, however, were pretty nice: 4 1/2, 5, and 6 1/2 lbers. There were a few others, but not much size. None of the males had bloody tails and the one female (the biggest one) was full of eggs. Water was in the 62-64 degree range. In my, uh, "professional" fishing opinion, they weren't bedding yet although we heard a few other people say the reason we couldn't catch them was because they were on bed. Got me. All I know is we didn't catch 'em!!

Glad I didn’t go to Ky lake Saturday now. Lol. You ready for another Friday night tournament yet??

I am a big believer in finesse fishing now. There were a lot of guys that said they had a rough day or didn’t catch but a few fish and only had one or two keepers.

You can make money. Just can't make a profit.
