Default Cold weather=Lockjaw

What do ya guys think?

After last weekends success Im trying to get out again this weekend. But the weather looks a lot less welcoming.

Have you had success when the temp drops? I normally do well right before the rain and the first hour it is raining.

Cold muddy water is no bueno for me. I went to Old Hickory today around the dam and it’s fairly muddy. It usually clears up pretty quick on that end of the lake. So I’m curious as to how bad the middle to upper end is. I didn’t see a lot of debris but the wind was blowing and was choppy so it could’ve been hidden.

I was on Old Hickory yesterday for a couple hours... near Saundersville boat ramp, not as much debri in the water and it wasnt choppy where I was but the water is still muddy and the current was moving pretty good. I'm with Skillet, cold muddy water is not for me. I did catch a massive drum though. Lol

They pull hard!

Thanks for the input everyone. I'm 50/50. I need to make a trolling mast for my planer boards this weekend anyways.

I’m going to get out on old hickory tomorrow and do some looking and see if I can’t figure out where and what stage the fish are in. My tournament season starts next Sunday and I don’t want to show up completely blind.

I think my buddy put in at Hamilton creek. Fate Sanders is open from the reports I’m getting. I’d like to know about Long Hunter...if it open?

Seven points ramp is ok, Long Hunter is too.
I'll be launching at LHSP at 6:30 this morning.
Got a striper/hybrid tournament there

Default Tourney on JPP 3/2/19

The fish were uncooperative for most of us today on JPP (Hybrids).
Many guys/boats didn't weigh any fish.

Winning weight was 26+ lbs, guys caught a 19 lb rockfish and a small hybrid. (I noticed he had launched We (me and my friend Randy, caught a grand total of four hybrids and five white bass. Two biggest hybrids weighed 8.43 lbs, just good enough for fifth place.

Released in the summey
