Put it at Long Hunter yesterday afternoon and fished until dark. Tons of bait 5ft-50 ft of water. Sporadically marked fish but could not find any takers. Water temp 76 degrees.

Worst time of year to fish -- they want to come shallow but no real reason to at this point. It'll likely be Halloween before I even think about going out again.

I went out today from Long Hunter, and was determined to catch something. I found a school of White bass and wore them out. They were small but fun to catch on a light action spinning rod. 8-12 FOW and caught them with a blade bait. After that, I spent two hours targeting largemouth and managed just one.
