Default Dale Hollow Obey River East Fork Walleye

Get your attention, LOL. I fish Dale Hollow lake for walleye but never hit the upper reaches of their spawning ground which typically is up East Fork River. Does anyone know much about that area? East Port Marina is a place to launch along with Compton Boat Ramp. From Compton up to 52 bridge its single hooks only. That's all I know. I want to go this weekend. Your thoughts? Chub

Been a couple decades but I always waded or bank fish for them, in the evening. If a boat is anchored in the middle, it makes it hard to go around them. So be the first one up to the shoal.

How far up from Comptons boat ramp is this shoal you speak of. Also please share a place to walk down to the river to bank fish. Thanks so much. Scott

Like I said, it has been along time. Parked on 52 and walked down, don't know how far up from Compton's. Guessing it was 0.5 mile down from road. Depth over the shoal probably varies depending on reservoir elevation.
