Default Boat ramp article

Many of us have discussed this. I do my best to watch for struggling boaters and offer to help. Also as a forum we can give them advice about boat ramps. A lot of experience here.

Good article. With summer coming, would love to see 1 or 2 of the TV stations to pick this up for our pleasure boating "friends"

Great article.
I have always enjoyed every article I read by Larry Woody. Ask him about the Carp Ark if you ever see him.

“For starters, have all gear and tackle loaded aboard the boat before backing onto the ramp. Nothing is more aggravating than a boater backing down the ramp, then before launching start transferring stuff from his vehicle to the boat.”

If just this alone was abided by it would help so much at the ramps.
I have seen many seasoned boaters at ramps just whip into the parking lot and go straight to the ramp without unloading in parking lot. It’s not just s newbie issue. Maybe with all of the views these treads get it will educate the public.

Thanks for posting.

Andy

I thought it was common sense to load the boat before launching it
