Default Hey Adrian

I saw you and your wife coming out of Cario on Friday afternoon. I was in the red center console boat. I waved at you as we passed by. Did you do any good? The river was dirty.

Hey, That was you? I knew they would be pulling a lot of water, so Cairo was the place to be. We got to a spot and hooked up immediately. Caught 2 about the same size then ran out of live bait due to the hot weather. It was a good day!

Have y'all tried trolling crankbaits across the bar lately? I've caught some good Sauger and Walleye this time of year there.

Those are some good ones. My biggest bass I've ever caught came off that bar.

I can almost 2nd that Tex. My second biggest bass came off there on a 1/4 Shakey head believe it or not. I set the hook and thought I had hung a stump, until it moved Lol.
I have never fished it at night though. Which I plan on doing this summer. I usually bass fish it first and when my wife is with me we will troll crankbaits over it afterwards. We do the best on Bandit 300's.

I saw that boat. From a distance I thought it was the TWRA guy I definitely want to try trolling over the bar. I don't know much about how to troll it. We don't fish Stripers like most people do. Our style is to find some current rolling by some structure and spotting stripers on the Lowrance, then we park right over the top of them and drop a live bait about a foot above their heads. It can be a boring trip if they have lock jaw. We've learned exactly what it looks like when they are catchable. Had some really good luck this year with the amount of water they've been pulling. Without it, we'd be sunk. Some guys on here are great at trolling. I wish they would take me and show me the ropes!

Thanks. I just got it in April. I've never had a center console before. I really like it. It has been a super versatile boat.
