Default Been A While

been a long while since I've been able to get out, decided to meet a buddy this morning and try out the lower part of Cheatham lake, it's been years since I've been down river that far, decided to go up the harpeth 8 or so miles in my jet skiff, water temps were in the 56-58 range with a decent current, saw several schools of Drum and Buffalo but no white bass or black bass. Decided to head back down river to the cumberland, water was 55-57 in the main channel, we finally picked up a few white bass in the 14-16" range and also caught one small spot. The majority of fish we were seeing were between 15-20ft suspending over 25-30ft, fishing was slow, talked to several other angles (kayak and boat) and they were also reporting a slow day. Going to try the upper sections of Cheatham tomorrow and see if we can maybe get into some small mouth and potentially some rainbows.

Tight lines
Tyler
