Default Another Nickajack Catfish Report

Same nephew, down river from previous ramp. Kept 10. Size ran a lot smaller this time, but the big fish was bigger. Prob. 15-17 lb white cat.

We met these 2 guys launching and then ran into them later on while fishing. They looked like spider riggers with catfish poles. They kicked our butts. They had a 40qt cooler almost filled to the top and then to make it worse, we we watched them catch 2 more around 3-6 lbs and then prob 8-10bls on the other one!!!! When I get a new depth finder, don't have one now, I am going to start crappie fishing again and more rockfishing....

I spent 2 nights trying to catch something at Cordull Hull Dam, above and below at the lock and nothing unless you count skeeter bites

Flatline, try below Old Hickory. We caught 10 and 12 keepers on 2 different trips about 1.5months ago. They were channels. I use chicken liver with garlic powder added. Garlic salt pulls the moisture from the livers and makes them nasty from what I remember in the past. Good luck and holler some time if you would like to go.
