Default Jpp 1-21-18

Got out about 8:30 to do some crappie fishing at 7 Points and was surprised to see so much ice still around. Fished with jigs till 11:00 with ZERO fish. 😡 water temp 38 degrees. Maybe 38 is to cold for them.

I had the same luck with bass 😡 Half dead shad everywhere though so they might not have been too hungry.

Well I got out at 12 PM and picked up where you left off. Tons of birds, dying shad, and no bites. With this many stunned shad in the water, why would they want my lures? I’m hoping the shad die-off will help fishing down the road.
