Default Sauger fishing

Thinking about going sauger fishing with job slowing down the next two weeks
I don’t own a boat any action below cheatem, Cordell hull, Percy priest, old Hickory. I’ve tried yet this year but trying to figure where to start. It’s cold but sauger and walleye taste so good. Hey I take so yellow bass right freezer getting low.

I would be willing to drive to pickwick

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated

If you make the drive to Pickwick fish over by the lock from the bank. Sauger can be anywhere in that man made slough but more are caught from the bank between bank and the end of lock wall. If you fish the corner in front.......and down the rocks.....of parking lot there is a sandbar out from the corner.....sauger like to hold on it.
