Default If its meant to be

If the deal goes down like it should, since no one wants me as a fishing partner I should be the proud owner of a 2016 Lowe Stinger 175 with a 60ph efi Merc

Same boat as this in review

Make sure you put the plug in it before you launch it. Happy Festivus.

Exclamation Be safe and wear PFD.

And if a plastic type tank open vent!

Always hook up kill switch and if big motor is running vest needs to be on.

The guy finally sent me pics today of the boat all the way around and the bottom of the boat. Its looks like it went thru hell. I'm not going criticize anyone for how they use their boat.. a man pays for it its his to use as he feels, but it was all scratched up, even passenger side from the decals on down. I can't bring myself to spend 13 grand on a boat in that condition.

On a brighter side I found a 2018 Bass Tracker 175 team for a little bit more that looks brand new.. claims he only took it out 4 times and its garage kept. Its only 40 miles from me and will go check it out right after Christmas.

Spoke with the guy with the 2018 BT 175 Team and I'm going to go look at the boat tomorrow. God I hope this boat is in good shape...

Would you mind sharing where you find the Lowe?, also been looking at boats for a while and sounds like it may be a lot of boat for the money if the damage is just cosmetic

It can be a pain. I ended up driving to Monroe, LA to get the boat I got. So far it has been a really nice boat and I got a great deal on it. Facebook actually has a couple of good pages to look for boat, that is where I found the boat I got. I bought this for $5200. 1999 model boat, motor and trailer and (knock on wood) has been running great.

Sadly there are Lowe dealer in Clarksville and Knoxville TN and then Florence AL.. nothing closer.

Here are the pics of the hull...

Like I said before I'm not judging this guy, he really seems like a nice fella, but for me... I am anal about my stuff as a whole. I wouldn't expect much for a $1000 dollar boat, but at a $13,000 price tag,... I'm sure some of you understand, there are limits to cosmetic defects.

1) Did the boat LIST for 21K or SELL for 21K in 2016?
2) The 13K price for a 2-year old boat on a boat that SOLD for 21K is a GREAT deal. If it LISTED for 21K, SOLD for 14K and now wants 13K . . . meh; not so much.
3) The hull pictures look like the owner used the boat at one of the hundreds of ramps I see . . . only way to get aboard is to beach it. Don't like the scratches? Scuff it and put on a Keel Guard. Done.

BTW: NADA for boats means nothing.
