Default Trout Stream Unaffected by Generation?

I am off this week and had planned to go to the Caney one day, with the generation schedules this looks like it is not going to happen. I don't see driving an hour 15 to fish 3 hrs. Any suggestions on a stream with decent access within a few hours of Nashville/Gallatin worth exploring that is not affected by this? Thanks in advance.

We are looking to get out there too. I just checked the Obey river below Dale Hollow and they are turning one gen on at 10. May have to find a plan B

You can turn a 3 hour window into a 6 hour window by starting at the dam and then going down to Betty's when the generation starts. Just an option.

Thought about that as well. Putting in at Happy Hollow and floating to Betty's. That's only 3 miles but better than nothing.
