Default Windy Thursday

Very slow day on Priest.

Trolled crankbaits, jig and fluke and Arigs for about 3 hours today.

Landed 5 crappies, 2 white bass and 2 hybrids before the wind convinced me that it was time to get off the water.

Lower end of lake was 55.4 degrees, midlake by Long Hunter/Bryant Grove was 58.3. Should hit 60 by the weekend with the warm temps, sunshine and winds.

The water color is very good.

Of course, this weekend the weather i's going to be brutal, high winds, thunderstorms, rain all day. I feel sorry for the guys that work all week who get beat up by the weather on their weekends off.

Be safe out there!

That's this guy! I'm skipping fishing Saturday and going to work a side job.

I HAD planned to fish a striper tournament on Tims Ford Saturday but it looks like it would be more misery than fun.

Therefore, I have opted to take the lazy and comfortable route and stay home.

I feel like a punch drunk prize fighter. Just got back from Toronto last night and when I walked out of the airport it felt like summer. Checked the forecast and immediately drove to the liquor store since the weekend looks like a blow out. Can’t catch a break in the past few weeks on the weekends.

I'm salary too but I'm working with another PM on a project he has going on personally. It's probably going to suck because we are installing 26 sheets 3/4 plywood in an unfinished upstairs.

The wind was brutal today. I’m fishing tomorrow but my plans call to be out of the wind....if not I’ll be back home quick...LOL.

Found 60 degree water thursday and the hybrids were on fire. Caught a pile of them and some good ones and Friday evening also. Friday and Saturday morning though I did not catch many at all but the evenings were on fire. All topwater and at times would either have a hybrid pushing and following the topwater bait or I would be catching them on every cast. Caught 25-30 each evening and the biggest was 16, still not sure if it was a hyrbrid or a striper but it was a nice fish and some 8 and 9 lb hybrids.
