Default Fun with the Ice Cube!

Hit Nickajack looking for whatever would bite. I caught a lot of bass today. Caught around 4 dozen KY and largemouth......but they were all at about 11 inches.....lot of fun though. I then found a school of smallmouth...all cookie cutter fish in the 13 inch range. I landed 12 of them....and boy were they diggin! My fish were not in the usual places today so I used my electronics to find them. I am posting 2 images of what bass look like on down imaging. They do not stack on top of each other like crappie do. They are hugging the bottom and spread out. The image with the red shaded box is the place that was holding a ton of the KY and largemouth bass. The other image is where I caught the smallmouth. Today I had to use the Midnight Blue ThunderHawk Dancer on a 1/8 ounce Dancer jig head. They crushed it. I was using the Tict Ice Cube 6' 9" Ice Cube Mebaru UL rod with 2# test SOS line and about an 18 inch section of 2# test Phantom fluorocarbon leader. Life is good!

Nice catches. Man these electronics have come a long way. Not only can you see exactly where these fish ate but you can see which direction each individual fish is facing. Pretty cool

Yeah it was a ton of fun. Still learning the river. This was my 13th trip down there and all of them have been very successful. I thought yesterday was going to be a bust but found some fish. I know sooner or later I will have a zero fish day but fall is coming and should just get better.
