Default Creek smallies

Been catching big smallies on local creeks with a 4 inch slider. pumpkin seed with chartreuse tail, and a case hellgrammite. What trout magnet would you try?

Try one of the Trout Magnet crawfish... I think they're called Trout Slayers. Or Crappie Magnets, I use the Crappie Magnet hooks w a Jr. Fluke when fishing for creek smallmouth.

None of them. I'd use a slider worm and a case hellgrammite.

Is there any place local to buy the hellgrammites?

The Berkley hellgrammite is one of my favorites, however, they get expensive.

Love the case plastic hellagramites. Had a great trip on the Pigeon river using them.
