Default Cumberland river report

Went out Sunday afternoon with 3 other friends to go striper fishing. Myself and one other guy threw the casts nets and had a bunch of threadfin in 20 minutes. Some 3 inches some 7 -8 inches. We had 4 planner boards out, two on each side. We also had 2 balloon rigs straight out behind the boat. We caught our first fish within an 30 minutes, this striper was about 10 pounds. We thought it might be a good day with the cloudy weather, but that ended up being our only fish. Water temperature was around 70°. We were in water from 10 to 40 feet. We will be at again on the river. As always it's a search expedition to find them. Hopefully more catching next time.
