Default Bait

I know this gets asked a lot, but where can one purchase large shiners/creek chubs? Also, is gold fish frowned upon to use as bait? Asking for a friend.

I’d rather not drive 8hrs.

Isn’t there a local place, Middle Tennessee, mount Juliet, Lebanon, Gallatin area?

Flippers usually has decent sized shiners. On the creek chubs I don't think you can transport wild caught bait these days....

Seine net and a small creek. Just don’t go to the same creek to often. I normally bring it with me and catch bait in the smaller feeder creeks of where I’m fishing for “legal” purposes.

Best bait is the stuff you catch in the body of water.
Chubs, log perch, helgy’s, crawdads.

I think it’s fun as well
