Default JPP Crappie....

My father in law is coming into town this Friday and wants to crappie fish, Anyone know what's going on with Crappie on Priest? We will probably go Sunday and Monday. My plan now is to just ride around scanning everything I know until I find them. Any info to eliminate water would be appreciated.

Wish I could help but I haven’t chased them since winter. I know a decent night floating light spot down by Elm Hill if you want. Let me know.

I didn't have much luck on my last trolling attempt Saturday before last. Carper's fishing report says they are catching them in brushpiles mid and upper portions of the lake between 12-18 feet.

Check out the fish attractors near pooles knob camp ground. They usually hold fish this time of year. jigs on a bobber work best for me. surprisingly, not many people fish them.

18-22ft bottom anything else has been way less productive. Fishing mid lake big deep crankbaits slowly. I beat my PB crappie for JPP twice in the same day a couple weeks ago both over 17inches
