Default Old Hickory Saturday report

Put in this morning about 5:15 at Shutes water temperature was 71°. Bass fished for the first two hours in Drakes with a frog had three blowouts but no hook ups. Decided to troll cranks for a few Crappie in areas I knew there was brush. Caught a few short Crappie, a good handful of yellow bass, catfish and this nice 18 inch sauger. Left about 10:15 it was getting busy, got to the ramp to load up just in time. Water temp was 77° when I finished up. I did get to fill the freezer a little more.

Thumbs up

Nice Sauger, glad it was a great morning. 10:00am is about right in the summer.
