Default Orange Dreamsicle Moonshine

Found some and tried it.

That recipe is not too bad. I just finished homemade peach mango the other day and this was better.

1 gal OJ
2 cups sugar
4 tea vanilla
1/4 cup french vanilla creamer

Add moonshine.

The one I tried had two cups but I think I will double mine.

Blackberry is good. If you have never had it then you're in for a treat if you have then you already know. Where I get it from has a huge 8ft x 8ft thorn less bush. That thing grows them the size of your thumb like grapes. This year I will get some starters in the fall from the bush to put out at my house.

I've never had the blackberry. I have had apple pie and cherry, and found both to be pretty good. Somebody brought some apple pie to a dove hunt 2 years ago. We passed it around for dessert.

Whiskey used to be cheap in South Williamson/North Maury Co. When the Saturn plant opened, all the yankees wanted it, and drove the price up. In the early 90's, it was 40.00 a gallon. I guess the novelty factor keeps on driving it.

That is probably the truth. I haven't tried any of Sutton's, Smoky's or the one here in Nashville that commercially makes it yet. Guess it's all the same but maybe safer depending on your source.

The thing I wish I could find again is some good ole German town wine. There used to be several around the old German town area of Nashville all the way up on the hill in Joelton that made it. The one who were trusted to make it have mostly passed on or stopped.

I've got some Cotton Candy, Apple, and some non diluted at the house. Ol' Smokey definitely has the most flavors to choose from.

Ol' Smokey is better than Sutton, and Sugarlands is in between.

I haven't tried that one, but I'll have to. A co-worker had some Moon Pie Moonshine last night. He said it was on the mellow side, but really good.
