Default Oh. 10-6

Met my son on water this morning at 8. Ran to small cove between Avondale and Cedar creek. Caught several 12-13" fish on small under spin w/swim bait. Kept checking pockets and back of coves and didn't catch another fish. Left due to heat and frustration at 12:30. Water temp was 71 at 8 and 76 at 12. Water stained and and lots of large logs in river. Please be careful guys if you are on hickory next few days. I haven't seen river this bad in a long time.

This whole week of 35,000 cfs has screwed everything up! Glad I'm not the only one struggling. Plus, it seems like everyone got their boats back out of storage! Might take me a day or two to get over the madness

I left biting crappie at Nickajack Friday morning on account of the heat myself. Started fishing in the fog and about an hour after it lifted, me and one other guy fishing the same mooring cell had to give it up.....it was brutal.

Regards
