There are still several up by the dam. Caught about a dozen and missed a bunch just last night. Just find the deep water.

Yes some of them go downstream...but believe me there are plenty that stay all the way up to the dam...or as far as the water goes anyway. As MNfisher says "Look for the deeper water".

They are built for moving water and can drop to the bottom in the slightest depression without going anywhere in a big flow.

IF they aren't on top then they are on bottome or near it and like others said will find deeper holes because that's an easier current on the bottom than shallow fast water.

Based on census data they have the population to warrant it. Especially over a lot of other areas that do get stockings.
Agreed. Station Camp Creek would be a great location.

Drakes Creek would be great too. Lots of bank access in Drakes Creek park.

Travis C. thanks for the help in Springfield. I got my limit Saturday morning all on a light pink TM. The fish had spread out. Not many being caught by the dam with serveral people fishing there. I moved up stream and found a spot that held lots fish.

Awesome, I may be out that way again on Thursday. Not keeping any this time but just some catching.

How far up have the moved? Is it the usual place they move up to first? Bench?
