Why would you not recommend eating the fish caught around the confluence? Just wondering? Never heard of that before..

I have seen die offs on Old Hickory and Center Hill.


Below Caney the other day there were slicks of dead shad, looked like a tanker of shad had crashed on the rocks and belching out shad for days .
Needless to say the gulls were in paradise.
