Sheesh, I wish I could get my buddy to show up at the ramp that early. He's more of a "I'll meet you around 6:30, 7" type guy unless it's one of his club tournaments. How anyone can be a fisherman and not be a morning person is beyond me.

I do that in the summer to get the best fishing hours, beat the heat, and beat the drunks and/or morons. I'm done by 10am and have had a full day of fishing.

I am not getting up that early. You will see me around 5:30 or 6:00. I don't mind fishing the heat because that means I get to fish deep. I like the idea of getting up and being on the water at daybreak but it does not happen often.

Yep. On a weekday, I'll be the first one in the parking lot, I don't have any other boats to worry about till maybe around 7, 7:30, and I'm off the water by 10, 11 at the latest.

My Grandfather just called me and said that he went today with a couple friends and they caught around 200 Bluegill, 1 two pound crappie and a nice cat. He fished up around hole in the wall island and said that the water had some tint to it but nothing to bad.

Juice, a friend of mine had his trailer stolen off the back of his truck at that parking lot while out fishing last year. Make sure you're locked on.

Thats pretty hardcore. Mine is locked but really stealing a trailer..... CreekCrappie, I love fishing deep. I think it's because I feel like not everyone knows how to do it.... then again I could be living in my own little dream world.
