Smile What ever you want it to be !! <'TK><

JD .. That is the beauty of being a fisherman ... It can be as big as you want to be ... ... I am put in this position all the time about the weight of a fish... ... That is a great school fish!! typical of the steam plant this time of year ... This type of fish is what made me want to start looking for the rogues, which are in there as well ... ... It got my Heart rate up ... And it should get yours up as well ...Nice Fish ...

With my interpolation of length and girth, and gill plate and personal experience and using a man's normal hands and fingers as a reference ... I'd say between 24 and 26 pounds ... (Also as a Reference compare your fish with the two caught that Merv took pic's of ...on the Feb 14th ... http://www.fishingtn.com/showthread.php?t=8182 There is a girth difference on the 32 pounder and a length difference on the 30 pounder) ... Yours is a shorter fish but has really been chowing down ... Also yours is a younger fish by a year or two ... a large head and gill plate but length is the tell tale on this one ..

So use this as a reference ... This is a starting point ... Also get another scale or have your Boga recalibrated ... It's a little heavy ... But Joey a Great fish !!! <'TK><

Looks like a good one, congrats. That is what I love about bigger baits, every bite is a good bite.

Would not matter to me if it was only 10 pounds. I had a blast catching it. Now time to try for one of the rouge big momma's..
