HAHA! Thanks! It is actually a small white bass... I used to have a boat in MN, and now I finally realized it is going to be a while before i own another one. So i am taking this bank fishing seriously!! HA!

I walked the bank for years...and did well. Found spots that produced year after year....but a year ago I just couldn't do the 3 or 4 miles anymore and got the kayak. I imagine in 4 or 5 years I will be back in a boat. Who needs a boat when you are catching fish as you have been doing....LOL. Keep living the dream!

Wow, What a nice fish. You're killing me! I've only been able to get out on the water once in the last month or so, and that was last Friday when they were predicting "occasional" showers. I got poured on all darned day and only caught a few fish. I can only dream of catching something like what you have in that pic! Congrats!

That is the biggest hybrid I have ever seen Mike, can you even imagine one with about another 10lbs hanging on it. State record is 23.3

The smallie was not too shabby either.

I caught one in that area about 8-10 yrs ago that went 19.6.....it was a Hoss...10 lb line and about 20 mins ......
