Water temp was the same Sunday. We caught 30 or so fish on spinnerbaits and craws...no shad spawn either. Next full moon is Sunday.....so we’ll see

Skillet...I had never heard of the donkey rig until a few years ago. A guy told me about it and he swore by it...better than an A-rig, according to him. Have you tried it yet?

I have not. I was going to Sunday, but seeing the water down so far and it being cloudy as it was I stuck a spinnerbait in my hand and went to work. It will be ready and heavily used in the shad spawn which should be this weekend if water temp will act right, climb up and stabilize. That’s gonna be the key factor. Oh, and the full moon this weekend. I’d like to find big belly kelly that showed up late to the dance sitting on her bed!!! 😂🤣 But I’m more ready for the shad spawn.
