Its not too often i fish right below O.H...im usually down river between the dam and just past the Stones. Thats a really good stretch of water for all species at the right times of year. If winter ever sets in weather wise, i will fish below that dam more. In my experience, its almost an untouched fishery this time of year.

I'm usually from the sewer plant discharge down towards the Stones, if not past that. We fished it over Christmas break and had a horrible time. We resorted to dropping minnows right at the dam and zeroed!

It was tough monday too. I got a few gills around the wing wall but that was it. I wanted to fish the rip rap but there were a few guys scattered along the bank so i kept my distance. Them saugers and a few walleyes will tuck right into the chunk rock around the wing wall during the day. Right on the bank. You pay in lost jigs but it can be worth it. I have had some phenominal nights on that rip rap before i got my boat.
