I need to try something like that around some of the small streams I like to wade. I will say I don't think I have ever seen a hellgrammite in the waters around here. Are they common?? I know my grandfather talks about fishing with them for smallmouth.
If you catch any just stuff then down your underwear. They will just cling but will not bite.
Minnow net is to small. I will take my neighbors kids butterfly net.
