Default Old hick 6/20

Hit the water after work yesterday and decided I needed some offshore cranking therapy. Isles around with the Garmin lit up and found a nice school of fish. Put a way point on them, dropped a buoy for where I wanted the front of my boat and started slinging a 6xd. Chartreuse with black back was the producing color and it was getting chewed on. I caught 12 in about an hour and half. Had 8 in the first 30 minutes. Water temp was 82 on this main lake hump. No giants but a could’ve been a decent limit for a tournament. Biggest was 16.5 inches.

Awesome. I can't seem to locate these off shore fish. Been scan the ledges but can't find any. What depth are you looking at? I might be off on the depth.

These fish were on a hump. 12ft on top and 15-18 on edges. They were scattered around it and right on the edges of the drop. I looked at a couple ledges around whites branch and saw plenty of bait but didn’t catch anything there. Going today again after work if the storms hold off.

Thanks, Skillet. I think I have been looking a little too deep. I have been in the 14 - 16 foot range.
