Default Farewell!

Hello everyone!,

Its been a long time since I've posted anything on here, but I still check in to read posts every now and than. I've done very little fishing the past year unfortunately due to work and life simply being hectic.

Anyways, my wife and I will be moving to Coos Bay, Oregon on the coast in two weeks. Its always been our dream to move the pacific northwest and my wife wants to open a bed and breakfast and start a small farm. We originially were going to move the end of March. We put our house up for sale, thinking it would take at least a month to sell it. Our house sold the day after we listed. So I guess we're moving earlier than planned! I look forward to exploring new fishing grounds in Oregon, fishing the salmon and steelhead runs and hunting for monster smallies. However, I must admit I will miss fishing TN waters and being involved in a great fishing community such as FishingTN.com.

I want to wish all of you well in your future fishing endeavors. While I've only personally met a few of you, I'd also like to think you all for sharing your fishing wisdom with me and others.

TK, I also want to personally thank you for allowing me to be a member of your site the past 6 years and for running a great, clean site for all of us to share our love for fishing and knowledge. Keep up the great work and its been a pleasure!

Again, I wish you all the very best.

Jamie

The housing market is insane right now, not quite sure why. My wife and I are house shopping and I can't tell you how many houses sold before we'd even have a chance to look at them, many going under contract the same day it was listed or a day or two after. We finally did get an offer accepted and are working out the details.

Congrats on the sale and moving, that's a beautiful part of the country and we look forward to you posting in the Out of State Fishing forum with reports of some huge Salmon! Best of luck to you and God bless!

Congrats on your move Jamie! We never got out to chase those hybrids. Make sure you chase the massive white sturgeon and walleye of the Columbia River! 12 lb walleye and 10 foot sturgeon!?! Yes sir!!

Look forward to hearing from you once in your new home and hearing about the great fishing in Oregon.
Be careful and stay safe on your travels.
If you get a chance try a T M on the trout out there.

Default Good luck and God Speed

So when the tide goes out you can peck off barnacles from pile posts and get the little pile worms for catching pile perch.

That is a great place but has many misty days although I'm sure God has
a home there as it is quite stunning.
