Default GSP his biggest

Took my dentist friend James and really good bass fisherman to get hooked in the striper world. Ended up with 6 total and this nice one for him at 21.2 lb his biggest fish period, everything on A-rigs. He of course had to catch a bass, nice one at 3.6 lb.

Good looking fish! You don't happen to be the guy I gave some threadfin to on my way out other day? If so sounds like I should've stayed...

That's when I thought it was.

The fishing must have picked up later in the afternoon.

We were there at 6 AM. There was six boats at the barrier at daylight, 11 guys fishing.

Five rockfish were caught. 15, 12, (approx) and three very small ones.

We left about 10 and guys were scattering out away from the barrier.

Two guys were catching skippies, must have been for catfish bait for later as they were just throwing them in a cooler on the deck. Doing a good job of catching them too. Hardly anyone else was catching skips and they were steady catching.

Wow glad I went later but no surprise. I'd hate to see a Saturday.

Tell James congrats on the big fish! Maybe he will start chasing stripers along with bass now.

Jim

PS - He is my dentist also. Great guy. Most appointments are spent sharing fish pictures and stories Best dental experience ever!

Jim I had no Idea. Well I sell dental supplies and equipment so most everything he has in his office he bought for me. We have just become really good friends over the years. Obviously the fishing was a good connection. Happy Fishin!!

Default Wednesday

I saw one 18 caught and no more. Action light.

19 when I tied to the barrier, 41 when I left.

I litterally stripped off all my coats and hats and said, "Heat wave!"
