Default Bad weather...

It was miserable weather out on Jpp today. I fished for 4 hours today in the stones river. The first bluff I pulled up to I caught a 14 inch bass on an a rig. Fished the bluff some more and only got one more bite on the a rig. I then picked up a jig and immediately caught another short fish. Wentbto the next one and didn't get a bite until I picked up the jig. Then I missed one and caught a short spotted bass. After that I fished some more bluffs and they only produced a few more short bass. Then I went to the blown out bridge. I caught a short fish off the extended point. The next cast I caught a 3.5 ponder on the a rig. I then drove straight to the split and caught a short spotted bass off the brushpile. After that I really wanted to try spring creek so I drove through the sleet/rain to get there. I ran to the back and whiffed until the point with the twra stakebeds on it. A short fish hit the a rig as soon as I threw it out. Fun day despite the weather. The water was 49 and the fish are appearing to start getting active.

Thats not a bad way to salvage a pretty crummy day and catch fish.
